Bill is a 25+ year global medical technology executive bringing advanced therapies to patients and healthcare systems worldwide. Bill is Chief Commercial Officer at Terumo Neuro, a leader in innovative neuro endovascular technologies for stroke and other malformations. He previously held commercial and executive management positions at Abbott, Boston Scientific and STERIS (American Sterilizer). Bill integrated multiple acquisitions, led extensive product and market development, and brings wide-ranging operational and P&L experiences.
In July 2023, Bill founded Alruna Advisors, a global investment advisory and consulting firm supporting early stage/start-up companies across the healthcare and healthy lifestyle consumer packaged goods markets. The firm has evaluated 400+ companies across healthcare, cybersecurity, generative AI, SaaS, consumer packaged goods, medical devices, and education, completed 5 investments, and serves as an advisor/board member for the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, private equity, and several early-stage healthcare companies.
Bill has served as CEO, corporate and industry boards, and advisory roles throughout his career. He is certified by the Board of Director Training Institute in Japan, non-profit board management, and completed the corporate governance executive management program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Fun Fact
He's gone from being a West Virginia native to visiting 75+ countries. During his travel, he would often call home to help review the kids' homework…a Tiger Dad!
